Quick Overview & Notes: This amplifier is installed inline between a wireless access point/router and its antenna to amplify bi-directional signals. Your router or access point must have a detachable SMA antenna connector for compatibility and an output power between 3 dBm and 20 dBm for proper operation. The access point/router is not included. Verify the product listing for whether a power adapter is supplied.
Quick Installation:
- Remove power from your wireless AP/router before installation.
- Detach the AP/router antenna and connect the included RG316 feeder cable from the router antenna port to the amplifier RFIN.
- Attach the router antenna to the amplifier RFOUT port and secure all connectors.
- Power the amplifier first, then power the wireless AP/router.
Safety Notes:
This product uses electrical power and/or batteries. Use only the specified voltage and compatible power supplies; do not connect higher voltage adapters. Disconnect power before installation or maintenance. Avoid exposure to moisture and extreme conditions. Keep out of reach of children. Follow local regulations for disposal of batteries and electronic equipment.
