Compact high-speed M.2 SSD enclosure that converts internal NVMe or NGFF SATA M.2 drives into portable external storage via USB-C. Ideal for backups, video editing, fast file transfers and expanding laptop storage. Aluminum casing improves heat dissipation for sustained performance.

Specifications:

  • Product Type: M.2 SSD Enclosure
  • Case Material: Aluminum + ABS
  • Dimensions (20Gbps model): 106.5 x 39 x 12 mm (4.19 x 1.54 x 0.47 in)
  • Dimensions (other model): 108 x 29.5 x 13.5 mm (4.25 x 1.16 x 0.53 in)
  • Cable Length: 15 cm (5.91 in)
  • Compatible SSD Sizes: 2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280
  • Supported Protocols: NVMe (PCIe, M-key) and NGFF SATA (B/M-key). Dual-protocol models support M-key (NVMe) and M&B-key (NVMe & SATA); not compatible with B-key-only SSDs on NVMe models.
  • External Interface: USB-C
  • Transmission Speed: NVMe up to 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen2), NVMe up to 20 Gbps (requires USB 3.2 Gen2x2 host), NGFF SATA up to 5 Gbps
  • Supported Capacity: Up to 4TB
  • System Compatibility: Windows, macOS, Linux, Android
  • Features: Aluminum heat-dissipating body, UASP & TRIM support (drive/OS dependent), plug-and-play via USB-C

Notes: To achieve maximum speeds (up to ~2000 MB/s) your host device must support USB 3.2 Gen2x2. macOS may require third-party NTFS drivers to write to NTFS-formatted drives. Format new SSDs to ExFAT or NTFS if they are not recognized. SSDs generate heat during heavy use; the aluminum case helps dissipate heat.

Safety Notes:

This product contains electronic components and a USB interface. Use only compatible USB-C cables and ports. Avoid exposure to liquids, extreme heat, or direct sunlight. Do not disassemble the enclosure with power connected; disconnect before inserting or removing an SSD. Handle M.2 SSDs with anti-static precautions and keep small parts out of reach of children.
