Specifications:
- Type: Addressable LED Strip
- IC Type: SK6812 RGBW (1 IC drives 1 LED)
- LED Chip Model: SMD5050
- LED Density: 30 / 60 / 144 LEDs per meter (30/60/144 LEDs/m)
- Available Lengths: 1 m / 4 m / 5 m (3.28 ft / 13.12 ft / 16.40 ft)
- Voltage: DC 5V (nominal)
- Power: ~0.3W per LED. Power per meter: 30 LEDs = 9W/m (~2.74W/ft); 60 LEDs = 18W/m (~5.49W/ft); 144 LEDs = 43.2W/m (~13.17W/ft)
- Luminous Flux: 2000–82000 lm (depending on density and length)
- Color / Color Temp: RGBW with Warm White 2700–3000K, Natural White 4000–4500K, Cool White 6000–6500K
- Addressable: Every LED individually addressable
- Cuttable: Cuttable between LEDs; each LED is cuttable
- Waterproof Grade: IP30 (non-waterproof), IP65 (silicone coating), IP67 (silicone tube)
- Adhesive: Self-adhesive tape on back (available on IP30 & IP65 versions; not for IP67 tube)
- PCB Color: White or Black
- Average Life: ~50,000 hours
- Certifications: CCC, CE, RoHS, UL
- Package Includes: LED strip only (no power supply or pixels controller included)
- Compatibility: Works with 5V pixels controllers (microcontrollers, single-board computers, Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth and app-based pixel controllers). Requires DC 5V power and a pixels controller to address LEDs.
- Connector Pinout: Red = VCC, White = GND, Green = DATA
- Notes: Every 0.5 m may include solder joints (normal). Do not sharply bend the strip. For long runs, inject power at both ends to reduce voltage drop.
How to choose power and controller:
- Calculate total watts: One LED ≈ 0.3W. Example: 5 m at 60 LEDs/m = 300 LEDs → 0.3W × 300 = 90W.
- Choose power supply: For 90W at 5V → 90W / 5V = 18A minimum. Select a 5V power supply with adequate amperage and safety margin.
- Choose controller: Use a pixels controller that supports SK6812 RGBW and double data-line control if required. App, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, or computer-based controllers are compatible.
